A lot of the class content is written and designed by me. It will be included in the price of your program.

No. If you sign up, you’ll need to commit to a consistent schedule. That’s the only way to ensure results.

While the goal is to help you learn Portuguese, I can also use other languages to help with the explanations in class.
I speak English, Spanish, German and French, and I have a few other languages I can use if I really need to.

It depends on what program you choose:

• 1 month for A2 - 4 weeks from your 1st class with me

• Speak up - 4 weeks from your 1st class with me

• Building blocks - 3 months from your 1st class with me

• Custom program - 3 months from your 1st class with me

• Custom program - 2 months from your 1st class with me

No. But you’re welcome to come see me for your classes.

I am originally from Lisbon. At the moment I live and work 1h north, in the Silver Coast.

I started teaching Portuguese in 2009.
Although I worked with children, most of my experience is with adult learners. I used to be a Portuguese Language & Culture lecturer at the University of Helsinki in Finland.
Outside academia I have worked as a private teacher since 2020, and I collaborate with international language schools in private & corporate language training.

I started teaching privately during the first 2020 lockdown. Since then, I’ve developed custom programs for learners from all walks of life, in Portugal and abroad.
